The fist-pumpingest lead line in history was written by Europe singer Joey Tempest on a Korg Polysix keyboard. When it came time to record the song, keyboardist Mic Michaeli layered a Roland JX-P8 synth on the “Stab Brass” preset with another sound from a Yamaha TX816 modular synth.
