AKG C414 

The AKG C414 is an excellent all-purpose condenser mic with a storied history stretching back to it’s AGK C12 tube progenitor. With switchable polar patterns, highly accurate frequency and transient response, and the ability to withstand high sound pressure levels, it is one of those rare condensers you can throw into almost any situation. The C414 started out as a solid-state, FET version of the C12 and has evolved over time through various revisions.
