AKG C451 

The C451 is a vintage AKG microphone that can often be found pointed at hi-hats, snare drums, and acoustic guitars. It is a small-diaphragm, FET condenser with a swappable capsules for a wide range of polar responses.

Since it’s creation in the 1960′s the C451 has dropped the modular format and added a “B” to its nomenclature. The capsule is now a fixed cardioid response, but it has retained its remarkably flat frequency response.
